เมืองทอง ยูไนเต็ด - สุโขทัย เอฟซี

SCG Muangthong United 1-0 Sukhothai FC

Aoyama Naoaki’s second half goal secured all three points for Thai League champions at SCG Stadium and ensured Sukhothai remain inside the relegation zone.

SCG Muangthong United dominated the game as the Kirins continued to cause problems for the Bat Fried’s back line, although they finished scoreless at the break.

Aoyama met an early corner in the second half and struck his header into the roof of the net, allowing Muangthong to claim their second win of the season, while Sukhothai FC fail to claim their first points in Toyota Thai League 2017.

After the game, Cleiton Silva, the all-time Thai League top scorer, had bid farewell to the Muangthong United fans as he later joined the Chinese side Shanghai Shenxin.

Pattaya United  2-1  Chonburi FC

Pattaya United managed to claim all three points in this “Chonburi Derby” clash as they overcame Chonburi FC with a narrow 2-1 scoreline.
