In just a matter of time, queens and kings will be crowned at the US Open.

The grand slam tournament continues with its 144th edition. One of the oldest tennis championships in the world, the annual showdown is also one of the best.

Last year, women's singles champion Coco Gauff won her first major singles title at just 19 years old, joining Serena Williams in 1999 as American teens to take the victory. On the men's side, Novak Djokovic established dominance in men's singles, winning his third major championship of the year and fourth US Open title overall.

It'll be hard to beat that historic tournament in 2023, but players will try. There's no place to do it like New York.

For those heading to the tournament, it's essential to make plans to get there, especially if you're driving in to Flushing Meadows. Here's how to get parking passes for every day of the US Open.
