Serena Williams, husband Alexis Ohanian welcome new baby: Daughter Adira joins Olympia in tennis legend's family image

Retirement has proved quite fruitful for Serena Williams thus far. Not only is she resting on a lump sum of much-deserved earnings from her glittering tennis career, but she's also found plenty to smile about, from heading to soccer games with such distinguished guests as LeBron and Kim Kardashian to enjoying playtime with daughter Olympia.

Family has always been vital to Williams. And her family just got bigger: Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian have welcomed their second child into the family, daughter Adira River Ohanian.

Ohanian posted a picture of the tennis star and Olympia cooing with the family's newest treasure on Instagram.

"I'm grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama," Ohanian wrote. "You've now given me another incomparable gift — you're the GMOAT."

The couple dropped an adorable reveal on Williams' TikTok earlier in the day. In the clip, Williams, Ohanian and Olympia all cuddle tight with one another. Williams then steps off screen, ostensibly picking up the couple's newborn. The video returns and we see a chuffed Williams, Ohanian and Olympia delighting in the bundle of joy that is their Adira.

"Adira" means powerful in Hebrew. And given the host of accomplishments Williams has racked up on and off the court over the years, it seems an inspired choice.
