It's rematch time for Madison Keys and Aryna Sabalenka at the US Open.
Keys, one of three Americans in the tournament's men's and women's semifinals, lost 6-2, 6-4 to Sabalenka just a few months ago in the Wimbledon quarterfinals. Since then, she's been on fire, only dropping one set through five matches and defeating this year's Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova to advance to the semifinals. Having support from the home crowd doesn't hurt either.
Seeded17th, Keys has an uphill battle if she wants to advance to the championship match like she did in 2017. Sabalenka will take over next week as the new No. 1 player in the WTA rankings after Iga Swiatek's loss earlier in the tournament. She's shown why thus far as the only player to not drop a set all tournament. The Belarusian is hungry for more after earning her first major singles title this year at the Australian Open.

Sabalenka's wicked-fast serve gives her an edge over her opponent, but Keys shouldn't be counted out yet. If she can extend rallies and force more swings from Sabalenka, who is used to hitting hard and ending the point immediately, unforced errors will come into play. The roar of the crowd may just give the American the fuel she needs to advance.
