Hobart International results, scores: Emma Navarro claims first WTA title with victory over Elise Mertens image

Rising American Emma Navarro claimed the biggest win of her career with a victory over Elise Mertens in the final of the Hobart International.

Navarro's first WTA title came following a hard fought final over the experienced Belgian, with the 22-year-old eventually taking it out in three sets, 6-1 4-6 7-5.
