The 2018 French Open at Roland Garros is nearing a close, with the women's singles final set for Saturday, June 9, and the men's singles final on Sunday, June 10.
In the women's draw, No. 1 seed Simona Halep defeated Sloane Stephens in three sets to take home her first career Grand Slam title. Halep fought back after losing the first set to Stephens and finally has her first title after finishing as a runner up on three previous occasions.

In the men's draw, No. 1 Rafael Nadal beat No. 7 Dominic Thiem in straight sets to claim his record 11th title at Roland Garros.
