In December, the Australian Open announced its singles main draw entry lists, with 100 men and women eyeing the first Grand Slam of the 2023 calendar.
Melbourne will be littered with the world's best tennis players during January in what is one of the most highly anticipated fortnights of the tennis year.

How many players compete at the Australian Open?
In both the men and women's singles competition, there are 128 competitors including 16 qualifiers and eight wildcards according to the Australian Open website.
Home talent Alexei Popyrin, Jason Kubler, Rinky Hijikata, Storm Hunter, Talia Gibson and Olivia Gadecki will compete this year as wildcards while veteran John Millman and 23-year-old Jamie Fourlis have been named as late additions.
Seven-time Grand Slam winner Venus Williams has also been awarded a wildcard, while fellow Americans Taylor Townsend and Christopher Eubanks will join her in January at the 2023 edition.
When does the Australian Open start?
The Australian Open 2023 main draw will start on Monday, January 16 with the start of the men's and women's singles.
It will conclude on Sunday, January 29 with the men's singles final, with the women's singles final played the night before.
When is the Australian Open draw?
Australian Open officials have confirmed the 2023 draw will take place on Thursday, January 12 (local time) with no time set in stone just yet.
