KELANTAN

After having secured the service of South Korean midfielder Do Dong Hyun from UiTM FC late last month, the Red Warriors during the weekend announced two more foreign imports for the 2018 season.

The Red Warriors have extended 32-year old Senegalese midfielder Morgaro Lima Gomis' contract.

The former Birmingham City and Dundee United midfielder had joined Kelantan in the middle of the 2016 season, and in the 2017 season helped them beat relegation.

They have also announced the signing of 28-year old Brazilian centre-back Cássio de Jesus. Cássio previously played for Indonesian Liga 1's Semen Padang, who were relegated at the conclusion of the 2017 season. He had been with them since 2016.

With these signings, the East Coast side have two more foreign slots to fill, including the newly-implemented Southeast Asian player slot.

KUALA LUMPUR

In the meantime, former Kelantan player Indra Putra Mahayuddin has joined newly-promoted Klang Valley side Kuala Lumpur. The 36-year old attacking midfielder was photographed in what looked to be a contract signing ceremony, alongside the City Boys head coach Fábio Magrão and chairman Adnan Ikshan. The former Malaysia international had previously played for Kelantan from 2016.

Another player that was pictured in the same photograph was 30-year old defender Firdaus Faudzi, who last played for Terengganu from 2016 to 2017.
