Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has announced a 25-man squad that will take part in the four-nation tournament in Zambia later this month.

The tournament will take place between March 22-24, and the Bafana mentor will take his strongest possible squad, including several European-based stars.

Bongani Zungu, Keagan Dolly, Lebo Mothiba and Kamohelo Mokotjo have all been called up alongside Phakamani Mahlambi, who is on the books of Egyptian giants Al Ahly.

As expected, there are a few new faces in the squad. Teboho Mokoena of SuperSport United, Siphesihle Ndlovu of Maritzburg United, Brendon Petersen of Ajax Cape Town as well as Orlando Pirates duo of Innocent Maela and Thembinkosi Lorch have all made the cut.

Kaizer Chiefs defender Daniel Cardoso makes his return to the national team setup following a series of impressive performances under Steve Komphela.

Mamelodi Sundowns centre-back Motjeka Madisha and Chiefs striker Ryan Moon have also been rewarded for their superb displays this season.

Meanwhile, Baxter has invited Pirates assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena to be part of his technical team for the tournament in Zambia as part of empowering local coaches.

Mokwena's presence in the PSL has been felt since joining the Sea Robbers at the beginning of the season from the Brazilians.
