Even with only four games remaining in the 2018 World Cup, there's still plenty of time for players to secure themselves as the tournament's top scorer.
Right before the semifinals, Harry Kane is leading the pack with six goals and he'll get two more games to cement the award for himself. But the main scorers for Belgium and France aren't too far behind.

Here are how things look before the semifinals kick off Tuesday.
Harry Kane, England — 6 goals
It hasn't been the most fabulous journey to the goal-scoring lead for the Tottenham striker. Three of his goals were scored from the penalty spot, and seeing a player win the golden boot through that method in the first tournament to use VAR would be incredibly unstaisfying. But he's still there with two games left, and against teams that have allowed at least one multi-goal game in the knockout stages, he can certainly achieve more.
Romelu Lukaku, Belgium — 4 goals
Even though the Manchester United striker has gone the past three games without a goal, he's tied with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo for World Cup goals. He even has found ways to help his team without scoring any goals. Against Japan, his dummy-move allowed Nacer Chadli to score the game-wining goal in the Round of 16. Against Brazil, he started the counter-attack that led Kevin de Bruyne to double their lead and secure the Red Devils' place in the semifinal. Surely the drought will come to an end soon.
Kylian Mbappe, France — 3 goals
Mbappe has drawn comparisons to Pele this tournament for his explosive performance against Argentina at just 19 years old. His two-goal output sent France through to the quarterfinals, where France calmly dismantled Uruguay. That, combined with scoring the only goal in the 1-0 French victory over Peru in the group stage, has put him in a position to lead the tournament in goal-scoring with two great games.
