Gianluca Vialli has hailed Harry Kane as "one of the best strikers in the world", claiming the Tottenham hotshot is on the same level as Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez.
The former Chelsea striker and manager has been hugely impressed with the way in which the England international has developed over the past year, with the 24-year-old having scored 29 times in just 30 games as Spurs finished second in the Premier League last season, as well as helping his country qualify for the World Cup.
Kane's sensational goalscoring form saw him finish a career-high 17th place in this year's Goal 50 and Vialli believes that there is even better to come from a player now being linked with Real Madrid.
"Harry Kane is becoming one of the best strikers in the world," the legendary No.9 told Goal. "It is unbelievable, he is strong, he is technical, he is a goalscorer and he is scoring in the Premier League, Champions League and at international level with England.
"I don’t know whether if Harry Kane gets injured that it would be over for England but it might be a big problem because at the moment he is the centre-forward. He is the guy that everyone knows in the team can come out with the end product and the goals you need in order to win things.
"He is also someone who works hard for the side. It would be difficult to find someone capable of replacing him. I think Harry Kane at the moment is a world-class player, probably together with Robert Lewandowski, Suarez, Cristiano, Higuain, and perhaps Icardi.
"He is definitely one of the top five centre-forwards in the world at the moment and I think soon he will be in the top three."
Vialli was a striker for Sampdoria, Juventus, Chelsea and Italy and he now works as a pundit for Sky Sport Italia, as well as being involved in the world of football finance with Tifosy in London.
