The UEFA Women's Euros 2022 is being played in England from July 6 through July 31, and it's the 13th edition of a competition which was first held in 1984.

Host nation England is in the final and is hoping to win the tournament for the first time on home soil, having ousted another one of the favorites, Spain, in the quarterfinals and Sweden in the semis. The English women have never won a Euros tournament, finishing runners-up twice (1984 and 2009).

Germany, winners of eight of the 12 Euros tournaments held thus far, are in the final after winning all five of their matches and conceding just one goal (an own goal).

The European Championship is one of the most coveted trophies in women's soccer, even though there are no Olympic or World Cup berths attached to this tournament. A total of 16 teams will do battle with a winner crowned after 31 matches.

Here are the details you need to know to watch the matches in the USA and Canada.

Who will win Women's Euros 2022?

Hosts England were among the favorites from the start, with an exciting young side captained by Arsenal's Leah Williamson, and a new coach in Sarina Wiegman, who won the trophy last time around with the Netherlands.

After smashing Denmark and Finland, and beating Spain, Germany made a pretty significant move earlier in the tournament from +557 to win it all to +285 (plus odds indicate the total winnings on a $100 bet).
