Looking to make it three wins from three at the start of the new Premier League season, reigning champions Manchester City head to the London Stadium to take on West Ham United this Saturday afternoon.
Julen Lopetegui began his tenure as West Ham manager with a 2-1 Premier League loss to Aston Villa but secured his first victory last weekend as his revamped Hammers side earned a 2-0 win away at Crystal Palace.
However, this weekend’s challenge is as tough as it gets in the Premier League, with Manchester City entering the match fresh off two consecutive wins to kick off the season.
Despite going behind against Ipswich last weekend, City stormed back to secure a 4-1 victory. Erling Haaland is already in ominous form, netting four goals in the first two matches, including a hat-trick against the Tractor Boys.
The Citizens have done the double over the Hammers in the last two seasons and claimed a 3-1 win the last time they met in London nearly a year ago.
The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

West Ham vs. Man City predicted lineups, team news
West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui has revealed that experienced left-back Aaron Cresswell is nursing a hamstring injury and will undergo a scan to determine the severity of his injury.
Edson Alvarez was handed his first Hammers start in midweek since pulling his hamstring on international duty with Mexico at the Copa America in June, and the midfielder is in contention to retain his place in the first XI; Tomas Soucek, Guido Rodriguez and James Ward-Prowse will also be battling for a start in midfield.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka put in a man-of-the-match display at left-back against Bournemouth, but he could move over to his favoured right-back role as Emerson Palmieri is expected to be recalled along with Kudus, Lucas Paqueta and potentially Michail Antonio, who will hope to replace Niclas Fullkrug up front.
West Ham predicted XI (4-1-4-1, right to left): Areola (GK) — Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Kilman, Emerson — Rodriguez — Bowen, Soucek, Paqueta, Kudus — Fullkrug.
Injured: Danilo
Suspended: None
As for Man City, Oscar Bobb is facing several months on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a fractured leg, while Rodri remains a fitness doubt but has returned to training this week, so he could be involved in some capacity at the London Stadium.
Phil Foden missed the win over Ipswich through illness, but he is expected to recover in time to play on Saturday, and the same can be said for Mateo Kovacic, who picked up a knock last weekend.
Kyle Walker and John Stones will be pushing to start in defense, although Guardiola may be tempted to stick with Rico Lewis, Manuel Akanji, Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol in his back four, while winger Savinho and Jeremy Doku could retain their places in the first XI ahead of Jack Grealish.
Man City predicted XI (3-3-1-3, right to left): Ederson (GK) — Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol — Lewis, Rodri, Silva — Foden — Savinho, Haaland, Doku.
Injured: Kovacic, Bobb
Suspended: None
West Ham vs. Man City prediction
Man City has scored more away goals against West Ham than any other Premier League opponent (42), and their 25 goals at the London Stadium are the most an away team has scored at a single venue since its opening in 2016-17, so the Citizens have every right to be confident of victory on Saturday.
West Ham have their own forwards who could cause difficulties for Man City, but it is impossible to bet against the champions outscoring their opponents on the way to a comfortable victory in the capital.
Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Man City
