As for Serbia, they are placed third in the table after picking up a 2-0 win over Switzerland in their last Nations League match. In the reverse fixture in Belgrade on Matchday 1, the Serbians managed to hold Spain to a goalless draw.

Spain's injury woes have taken a turn for the worse with Lamine Yamal also being ruled out of the upcoming clash.

Unai Simon, Dani Carvajal, Robin Le Normand, Rodri, Dani Olmo, Gavi and Nico Williams were already unavailable for the European champions.

Chances are that Alex Baena could come into the squad instead of Lamal, while Alvaro Morata starts up front.
