One thing we know for certain about Miguel Layun is that the Mexican winger/defender can strike a ball from distance, and Club Brugge got a reminder of that fact Tuesday.
With Porto down a goal in the Champions League match between the two sides, Layun stepped up in a big way, hammering home a shot from just outsied the box to pull his team level at 1-1.

The goal was Layun's first of the Champions League campaign and might give U.S. manager Jurgen Klinsmann a couple of extra nightmares ahead of November's Hex match between his side and Mexico.
