FC Barcelona showed its mastery of the counterattack at Manchester City on Tuesday, as Lionel Messi netted on the break to give his side the lead.
After a City attack was thwarted, Messi sprung Neymar with a long pass. The Brazilian continued on and eventually found Messi, who burst through the City back line and finished.

Though Messi's goal was brilliant, it wasn't enough as City bounced back with three consecutive goals to take a 3-1 win on the night.
The goal was Messi's 54th career strike in the Champions League group stage, overtaking Raul for the most in that category.
