Israel vs. France lineups, team news

Israel gave a decent account of themselves in their defeats to Belgium and Italy, but coach Ran Ben Simon has made a few changes to the squad since the 2-1 loss to the Azzurri last time out.

Experienced defender Eli Dasa returns after missing the September internationals, with Zurich's Doron Leidner a candidate to come in at left-back. Salzburg youngster Oscar Gloukh may be given a start as a No.10 alongside Charlotte FC's Liel Abada and star winger Manor Solomon, on loan at Leeds United from Tottenham this season.

Tai Baribo has not yet featured in this latest Nations League campaign, but his decent form for Philadelphia Union — nine goals and two assists in 19 appearances — could see him earn a starting spot in attack.

Israel predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Gerafi (GK) — Jehezkel, Nachmias, Shlomo, Leidner — Abu Fani, Kanichowsky — Abada, Gloukh, Solomon — Baribo

Injured: Dasa, Turgeman
Suspended:

This will be a new-look France attack given Kylian Mbappe was left out of the squad for extra rest following injury and Antoine Griezmann has announced his international retirement.

Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku may hope to make his first France appearance in a year, particularly with Marcus Thuram having to be careful to manage an injury scare. Loic Bade of Sevilla could earn his first senior cap after replacing the injured Dayot Upamecano in the squad.

Warren Zaire-Emery is back among the midfield options, and the Paris Saint-Germain youngster could earn a starting spot in the absence of N'Golo Kante.

France predicted XI (4-3-3 right to left): Maignan (GK) — Koude, Saliba, Konate, Hernandez — Zaire-Emery, Fofana, Camavinga — Dembele, Nkunku, Barcola

Injured: Mbappe, Upamecano
Suspended:
