Following a mid-season break, Inter Miami are set to return to the field with a trip to the Northeast.

Inter Miami travels to face the Philadelphia Union on Saturday, June 15 at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa. It will be a shorthanded Inter Miami side, as Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Matias Rojas, and Benjamin Cremaschi are all away on international duty. The former three will be taking part in this summer's Copa America, while Cremaschi is in line to make the U.S. Olympic soccer team.

However, Inter Miami showed in Vancouver last month that they can win even without Messi. The remaining players, including Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, should all believe they have what it takes to win at Philadelphia.

Two years on from finishing first in the MLS Eastern Conference, the Union are struggling to just make the playoffs places. The Union currently sit in eighth, just above the playoff line, but one distraction and a win for DC United and the Union could be on the outside looking in.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch it across the world, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Inter Miami vs. Philadelphia Union lineups, team news

With Messi, Suarez, and Rojas all out, coach Gerardo Martino will have to find a new forward line to use. Martino will turn to Robert Taylor, Leo Campana, and possibly Shanyder Borgelin, who has only played four games all season. Robbie Robertson's long-term injury is hurting the club right now, as he would likely step in and start during this period.

Inter Miami projected starting lineup (4-3-3): Callender (GK) — Weigandt, Aviles, Kryvtsov, Alba — Gressel, Busquets, Cremaschi — Taylor, Campana, Borgelin.

The Union are on the verge of losing star striker Julian Carranza to a big-money move abroad. Carranza is reportedly garnering transfer interest from Feyenoord and could move in the coming days. However, in the meantime, Carranza is back to full fitness and could feature this weekend against Inter Miami. Center-back Jack Elliott will miss out after receiving a straight red card in the Union's last match.

Nathan Harriel and Jack McGlynn are both with the U.S. U-23 Men's National Team.

Philadelphia Union projected starting lineup (4-3-3): Semmle (GK) — Mbaizo, Glesnes, Rowe, Wagner — Sullivan, Martinez, Flach — Gazdag, Carranza, Uhre.

Inter Miami vs. Philadelphia Union prediction

Both teams will be missing key players this week, but it may be too much this week for Inter Miami to overcome. The Union get a boost — at least for this week — with Carranza available, and it should be enough to see off the Messi-less Herons this week.

Prediction: Philadelphia Union 3-1 Inter Miami
