Defending men's soccer national champions Clemson begin the 2024 season against a difficult opponent as the No. 1 ranked Tigers host Penn State on Thursday in South Carolina.
The ACC is as loaded with talent as ever, as the toughest conference in college soccer features the defending national champions plus a host of other top-ranked sides, including No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 6 North Carolina, No. 13 Virginia, No. 15 Wake Forest, No. 20 Duke, No. 24 Louisville, and No. 25 Syracuse.
That already-loaded group has been given an even greater boost with the conference realignment additions for this season, which includes No. 5 Stanford plus Cal and SMU who were both ranked at some point last season.
