Argentina are set to face Guatemela on Friday, June 14 at Commanders Field in Landover, Maryland. It's Argentina's last scheduled match before kickoff off their Copa America journey against Canada on June 20 in Atlanta, Ga.

Interestingly, Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni has decided to experiment in the final tune-up friendly before the start of the 2024 Copa America.
Lionel Messi starts, but not in the usual 4-3-3 deployed by Argentina over the last few years. Instead, it's a 4-4-2 diamond formation, with 19-year-old Valentin Carboni at the No. 10. Nico Gonzalez has been deployed to left-back to provide width, with Lautaro Martinez up front alongside Messi.
