Vincent Aboubakar has extended his contract with Porto until 2021, the Portuguese giants have confirmed.
The 25-year-old has seen his stock rise significantly after guiding Cameroon to win the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
He was linked to a permanent switch to Besiktas and Newcastle United in the off-season but renewing his contract ended any further speculation by renewing his deal with Porto.
Also, Porto announced they had secured a further 60 percent of the forward’s economic rights from Lorient for €7.2m.
Aboubakar is Porto's top scorer this season with eight goals as Porto sit two points clear of Sporting CP at the summit of the Primeira Liga.
