Back in 2009, Pedro was a starry-eyed youngster making a name for himself at Barcelona after graduating out of the famed La Masia academy system.

Even then he was destined for the top, with a dream start enjoyed to the 2009-10 campaign.

Opening his goal account for Barca in a Spanish Super Cup clash with Athletic Bilbao, he then netted the winner in the UEFA Super Cup against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Another effort followed in the Champions League during a meeting with Dynamo Kiev, before breaking his La Liga duck in some style against Almeria on October 3, 2009.

That stunning strike was the first of 58 Pedro managed for Barca in the Spanish top-flight.

He netted 99 times in total for the Catalan club, with his time at Camp Nou also seeing him become a World Cup and European Championship winner.

After a trophy-laden stint with Barca, he then completed a £19 million move to Chelsea in 2015.

Pedro has continued to shine in England, with few able to match his contribution to the Blues cause over the last couple of seasons.

He is also a Premier League title winner, with the 30-year-old having come a long way since those heady days of autumn 2009.
