The USWNT's quest for a World Cup three-peat continues on Wednesday night with a matchup against the Netherlands. 

The Americans weren't at their best in their opening game against Vietnam, but they got the job done, securing a 3-0 victory thanks to a brace from Sophia Smith and a goal from Lindsey Horan. It moved them into first place in Group E with three points, ahead of the Netherlands on goal difference. 

Now, they will face the Netherlands in a crucial game for knockout stage qualification. Either team can book its spot in the Round of 16 with a win, while a loss would result in it coming down to the final match of the group stage.
