The United States men will play a pre-Copa America friendly match against Brazil in Orlando, FL as both sides gear up for the massive summer tournament on U.S. soil.
The match, which will serve as the 2024 Continental Clasico, is an interesting pairing given that both sides have a strong possibility of matching up in the Copa America knockout stage, either in the quarterfinals or semifinals. It's common for teams taking part in the same international tournament to compete in tune-up friendlies, but rarely do sides with a strong likelihood of meeting in that competition cross paths in this manner.
Brazil is one of the world's most powerful sides and considered one of the top favorites for the South American championship tournament, played every four years. Yet the Selecao have struggled of late by their standards, currently sitting sixth in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying standings six matches into the round-robin event.
However, in Brazil's first pre-Copa America friendly match, they beat Mexico, 3-2, with a mostly reserve squad, though Vinicius Jr. and Endrick saved the day late for the yellow and green.

The U.S. should have their strongest possible lineup in play as they get ready for this summer's extremely important tournament, set to test themselves against some of the world's best ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which will also be played on home soil. Brazil superstar forward Neymar has been missing for Brazil due to injury, and his availability for both this match and the Copa America is in question thanks to an ACL tear, but the Selecao still boast world-class talent outside of him such as Vinicius Jr, Casemiro, Alisson, Gabriel Jesus, and many others.
The Continental Clasico is a yearly friendly organized by U.S. Soccer, with the April 2023 edition serving as the inaugural event, where the USMNT drew 1-1 with Mexico in a match that fell outside a designated FIFA international window.

Tickets for the friendly between the USA national team at Brazil were released for full public availability on Friday, March 1 at 10 a.m. ET.
As of game day, the cheapest tickets were selling on StubHub.com for just $54 in upper deck sections. For lower-level sections behind the goal, fans can get tickets for as little as $85, while front-row seats in section 134 will cost fans $622 per ticket.

Knockout Stage
All knockout stage matches are if necessary only should the USA qualify by progressing past the previous round.
If the United States qualify for the knockout stage by finishing top two in Group C, Gregg Berhalter and company will have their path to the final set in stone. As a Group C participant, their quarterfinal would come against either the winner or runner-up from Group D, which features Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, and a to-be-determined CONCACAF qualifier (either Costa Rica or Honduras).
If they reach the semifinals, they would be guaranteed yet another game regardless of the outcome, either reaching the final with a victory or playing in the third-place match if defeated. Both possibilities are shown below, but obviously, only one can be played.
