The U.S. Women's National Team's journey to a third straight World Cup title and a fifth total begins on Friday.

The USWNT is coming off back-to-back victories in 2015 and 2019. And plenty of the team that won its last title will be back trying to help the United States win again.

Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, Kelley O'Hara, Julie Ertz, Lindsey Horan, Alyssa Naeher, Crystal Dunn, Rose Lavelle and Emily Sonnett are all back for another shot at a championship.

That group will begin its path on Friday, when the team faces off against Vietnam, which won the AFC Women's Asian Cup in 2022 to earn its place in the Women's World Cup for the first time in the team's history.
