The United States will be looking to become the first team in Women's World Cup history to three-peat, as they contest the 2023 edition in Australia and New Zealand.

Vlatko Andonovski leads his team in a competition they have dominated historically, with the most titles of any nation since the inception of the Women's World Cup in 1991.

Even in years the U.S. didn't win the title, they put in a good showing, proving their dominance as one of the world's strongest sides.

This year, there will be plenty of competition from other strong women's sides, as parity continues to increase throughout the global game. Still, the achievements of the USA women's side throughout their history looms large as they hope to flex their muscles on the world stage yet again.
