It's now or never for the United States at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Despite earning a very respectable draw against the mighty Three Lions of England last time out, the USMNT must beat Iran on Tuesday to clinch a spot in the knockout stage. Anything less than a victory will mean elimination from the tournament.

It's a tall task, but Gregg Berhalter's young American squad seems up to the challenge. The Yanks can honestly consider themselves a bit unlucky after their 0-0 draw with England after creating a number of quality chances and hitting the crossbar in the first half on an effort by Christian Pulisic.

On the other side, the Iranian players are flying high after a 2-0 win over Wales in their last match through stoppage-time goals by Rouzbeh Cheshmi and Ramin Rezaeian. The victory means they now most likely only need a draw to clinch a spot in the next stage.

That means the stakes couldn't be higher. At the final whistle, one team will celebrate moving on and the other will suffer the bitter disappointment of elimination. It's time to find out what these American players are really made of.

Here's everything you need to know to watch Tuesday's pivotal USA-Iran match free online.
