The Champions League Round of 16 draw produced the heavyweight matchups everyone expected.

PSG will have to come from behind to overcome Bayern Munich if they're to keep their dream alive of winning a first Champions League title. Meanwhile, Real Madrid look primed to hand Liverpool their latest Champions League elimination after beating the Reds in two of the last five finals.

Tottenham will face a familiar foe for manager Antonio Conte: defending Serie A champions AC Milan. And Chelsea will look to salvage their season with a run in the Champions League, but they'll need a victory against Borussia Dortmund to do it.

Napoli have a path to the quarterfinals in what's been a magical season as they are in position to get past Eintracht Frankfurt, while fellow Italian side Inter Milan will have its work cut out for it against FC Porto.

Champions League Round of 16 draw

For the November 2022 Round of 16 draw, one seeded team was selected to face one unseeded team in each of the eight matchups.

The seeded teams were those who won their groups, while the unseeded teams were those that finished in second. The unseeded teams play at home in the first leg.

There were a few restrictions to the draw. Teams hailing from the same country and the same group could not be drawn against one another in the Round of 16. Both of those restrictions will be removed for the rest of the tournament for draws from the quarterfinals through to the final.

Speaking of that quarterfinal draw: That will be held on March 17, 2023 and the semifinal draw will be held on the same day with the full path to the final mapped out.
