Mohamed Salah's agents have offered the Liverpool star to Barcelona as an alternative to Antoine Griezmann, according to AS.

The Catalans have been in pursuit of Griezmann for months, but he is yet to go public on whether he will stay at Atletico Madrid or leave. 

And the newspaper reports that Salah is seen as an excellent choice should the transfer fall through, with meetings between his representatives and Barca having already taken place.


Klopp open to taking Madrid job


Jurgen Klopp would apparently be interested in taking the Real Madrid job although he accepts that Liverpool won't make it easy for the Liga giants, according to Don Balon.

The Reds boss, who is reportedly Madrid's No.1 target, has outlined the players he considers not to have a future at the Bernabeu, with Kiko Casilla, Achraf Hakimi, Jesus Vallejo, Marcos Llorente and Borja Mayoral all to be moved on.

Isco's position would also be under threat as Klopp favours a 4-3-3 system, with the German having told Florentino Perez that he would want total control of the team.


Man Utd sign £19m Dalot from Porto


Manchester United have completed the signing of Diogo Dalot from Porto for £19 million ($25.5m).

The Portuguese full-back has signed a five-year contract with a club option of a further year, and becomes United’s second addition of the summer transfer window after an agreement was reached to sign Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Liverpool eye Shaqiri


Liverpool have shown an interest in signing Stoke City midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri, according to the Daily Mirror​.

The Swtizerland international has a £12 million ($16.1m) release clause following the Potters' relegation from the Premier League.

And Jurgen Klopp's side are prepared to battle with Everton and Roma for the ex-Bayern Munich man.


Arsenal sign PSG starlet Adli


Arsenal have signed 17-year-old midfielder Yacine Adli for a compensation fee of £223,000, Goal can confirm.

The youngster rejected a contract offer to stay at Paris Saint-Germain after being persuaded by new Gunners head coach Unai Emery, who gave Adli his debut when he was in charge of the Ligue 1 club.

Bayern name Lewandowski price


Bayern Munich would be willing to listen to offers for Robert Lewandowski if they reach the €200 million (£175m/$235m) mark, according to Sport Bild.

Lewandowski has apparently already communicated his desire to leave to club president Uli Hoeness, as he targets a new challenge away from Germany.

Bayern, though, will not even answer the phone to bids of less than €200m, with Real Madrid and Chelsea having been linked with the Poland international.


Man Utd join Lenglet chase


 Manchester United have contacted Sevilla about highly rated defender Clement Lenglet, reports L'Equipe.

The 22-year-old Frenchman is considered one of the most promising defenders in Europe, and has been heavily linked with a switch to Barcelona. 

But United could throw their name in the ring with a £31 million (€35m/$42m) bid for Lenglet. 


Inter close in on Bordeaux star Malcom


Inter are closing in on a deal to sign Bordeaux forward Malcom having agreed terms with the Brazilian.

Goal  ​understands the 21-year-old - who was previously a target for Arsenal and Tottenham - is keen to complete a move to San Siro, though the two clubs are yet to agree on a price.

Inter have offered €40 million (£35m/$47m) to secure his services, but Bordeaux are holding out for closer to €50m (£43.8m/$58.7m).

Guardiola doubts Neymar move to Madrid


Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola does not believe it is likely that Real Madrid will succeed in a swoop for Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar this summer.

The Brazil international left Barcelona last August to sign for PSG in a world-record €222 million (£200m/$259m) deal and proved a success in France, where he helped his side scoop the domestic treble.

However, he has been continually linked with a move back to Spain, with Madrid reportedly leading the way for his signature.

Juve reject £50m City bid for Pjanic


Juventus have turned down a £50 million (€57m/$67m) offer from Manchester City for Miralem Pjanic, according to Tuttosport

Pep Guardiola is looking to reinforce his central midfield ahead of the 2018-19 season and the Bosnian could be an ideal fit at the Etihad Stadium.

But City will have to make a larger offer if they are to lure the 28-year-old this summer. 


De Ligt discusses transfer links

Spurs plan Martial talks with Man Utd


Tottenham are planning talks next week with Manchester United over Anthony Martial, reports the Daily Mail.

The 22-year-old France winger was frustrated at Old Trafford in 2017-18, failing to secure regular playing time and falling short of his country's World Cup squad.

Mauricio Pochettino has made Martial's signing a priority ahead of next season, with Spurs looking to add more attacking options.


Arsenal consider Martins bid


Arsenal are mulling over a bid for Portugal international winger Gelson Martins, reports O Jogo.

The 23-year-old has attracted a host of interested parties with his displays for Sporting, scoring eight goals and adding nine assists in the Portuguese league in 2017-18. 

Martins has a contract with Sporting through 2022, including a €60 million (£52m/$70m) release clause.


Liverpool interested in Simon


Liverpool are considering a move for £10 million-rated (€11m/$13m) Gent winger Moses Simon, Goal understands.

The 22-year-old Nigeria international scored six goals in the Jupiler League this season but was left out of his country's World Cup squad due to a hip injury.

Jurgen Klopp is eager to strengthen his side's depth in attack, looking to provide cover for the dynamic trio of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

Chelsea near Blanc appointment


Chelsea are closing in on a deal to appoint Laurent Blanc as the club's new manager, reports Express

Talks with the former France and PSG manager have progressed over the past two days, with Blanc planning on taking former Marseille and Lille coach Franck Passi with him to Stamford Bridge as his No. 2.

The Blues are not willing pay Napoli the £7 million fee required to land Maurizio Sarri, who has been replaced by Carlo Ancelotti with the Serie A runners-up. 


Roma close in on Cristante


Roma are closing in on the signing of Atalanta star Bryan Cristante, reports Sky Italia.

The 23-year-old midfielder has emerged as one of Italy's top prospects, drawing reported interest from Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal among other clubs. 

But the Giallorossi appear to have won the race for Cristante, who will cost €30 million (£26m/$30m) including add-ons. 


Man City to offer Zinchenko in Jorginho deal


Manchester City are prepared to offer Oleksandr Zinchenko to Napoli in a deal for Jorginho, reports the Mirror

City have thus far been able to land the Napoli midfielder, who is one of their top priorities for the summer.

In an attempt to push a deal over the line, the Premier League champions are now prepared to add Zinchenko, 21, who can play midfield or left-back.


Wolves in talks for £35m Cancelo


Wolves are in talks with Valencia over a deal to sign right-back Joao Cancelo, according to Sky Italia.

The 24-year-old impressed on loan at Inter last season and is represented by Jorge Mendes, who has strong ties to Wolves. 

The Championship winners are discussing a fee around £35 million (€40m/$47m) for the Portugal international. 


Aouar set to sign new Lyon deal


Reported Barcelona and Liverpool target Houssem Aouar is set to sign a new contract with Lyon, Goal understands. 

Aouar, 19, broke through in 2017-18, becoming a key member of Lyon's squad and attracting attention from some of Europe's biggest clubs. 

But the France U-21 midfielder will sign a deal with Lyon that will keep him at the club through June 2023.
