Manchester United are set to make a $60 million bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to  La Cuarta .

The Red Devils are willing to offer the Chile international $18m-per-year as they look to unite him with compatriot Alexis Sanchez at Old Trafford.

They face competition from Chelsea, however, with Blues boss Antonio Conte having previously worked with Vidal at Juventus.


Mourinho decides to keep Pogba

Jose Mourinho has decided not to make Paul Pogba available on the summer transfer market, according to Yahoo Sport UK. 

The France midfielder's future has been questioned in recent weeks as he has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford. 

But, despite feeling that Pogba doesn't "have his head in football," Mourinho believes in the 25-year-old's qualities and wants to help him turn things around in 2018-19. 


PSG in for Pjanic

Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic is a target for Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain, according to Corriere della Sera .

The Bosnia international started his career in France with Lyon before moving to Serie A, initially with Roma, and PSG are willing to offer him an €8 million-per-year deal over five seasons.

Juve do not wish to sell, but the 27-year-old would double his salary with a move to Parc des Princes.

Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti has refused to be drawn into speculation over a potential summer move to Manchester United.

The 24-year-old France international defender has seen his future plans questioned following reports in Spain that talks over a new deal at Camp Nou have come to a standstill.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to pounce by matching his €60 million (£52.5m) release clause and offering the player around €9 million (£7.9m) per year.

Juventus join Hector race

Juventus are hoping to land Germany international left-back Jonas Hector this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The FC Koln defender has a clause in his contract that allows him to depart the club for less than €10 million if the club are relegated. 

And with Hector's side currently five points from safety, Juve have joined Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich as clubs reportedly interested in the 27-year-old.


Liverpool backed to sign Donnarumma

Steve Nicol has backed his former club to sign Milan and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Nicol believes that despite Loris Karius's good form of late, the Reds still need to bring in another shot-stopper in the summer. 

And the 19-year-old Donnarumma has been mooted as the perfect option, with Nicol saying the Italian could be Liverpool's goalkeeper for the next decade.

Napoli are interested in bringing Luis Enrique in as manager should Maurizio Sarri leave the club this summer, claims  Tuttosport , via Football Italia.

The former Barcelona manager also has been linked with potentially open managerial positions at Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich. 

Current Napoli boss Sarri has been mooted as a potential replacement for Antonio Conte should the Italian depart Chelsea. 


Can's Liverpool career coming to an end
