Man Utd eye Porto teen Dalot


Manchester United are closing in on a move for Porto defender Diogo Dalot, according to the  Daily Record .

The teenager broke into the Porto first team this season and can play as a full-back on either flank.

Such is his potential his release clause has been set at €20 million (£17.4m/$23m), but the Red Devils are willing to pay that as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his backline.


Ronaldo disappointed at lack of Man Utd effort


Cristiano Ronaldo has apparently been left very disappointed at Manchester United for their failure to go all out to sign him, Don Balon   reports.

The Real Madrid star caused a stir with his post-match comments after the Champions League final having suggested he may not be staying with Los Blancos.

And he is reportedly not happy with United for not pushing hard to bring him back to Old Trafford, with the club unable to match his €50 million (£44m/$58m) wage demands.


Bale may cost £335 million for Man Utd


Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho fears his club may be priced out of signing Gareth Bale because of a massive £335 million (€384m/$446m) cost of doing business, according to the  Mirror .

After Bale’s Champions League winning display, Real Madrid want £200m (€229m/$266m) for the Wales international, who then would require another £135m (€155m/$180m) in total wages over four years.

That figure has left Mourinho doubting the Red Devils will shell out for a 28-year-old who has struggled with injuries in the past.


Fulham vow to keep Sessegnon


Fulham owner Shahid Khan insists Ryan Sessegnon will be playing for the club in the Premier League next season.

The 18-year-old has been linked with some of England's biggest clubs due to his standout performances in 2017-18 but the newly-promoted side are sure he will stay put.

Spurs may launch audacious Bale bid


Tottenham may try to re-sign Gareth Bale this summer, and the Real Madrid star would be willing to make financial compromises in order to get the deal done, reports The Independent .

Spurs sold Bale in 2013, receiving a then-world record fee of £86 million (€99m/$114m), but are monitoring developments regarding his future.

Bale hinted that he could leave Real following the Champions League final, and Spurs are hopeful of engineering a sensational reunion ahead of Manchester United, who have cooled their own interest in the Welshman.


Liverpool beat Man Utd & Arsenal to Fabinho


Liverpool signed Fabinho from AS Monaco ahead of fellow interested parties PSG, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal, Goal can confirm.

The Reds completed the acquisition of the midfielder earlier this week for €45 million (£52m/$52m).

And Jurgen Klopp's men have pulled off something of a coup, with PSG and United both heavily interested, while Arsenal made enquiries as to his availibility.

Barcelona are eyeing a move for Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, according to Sport .

The Spurs star is seen as the ideal replacement for Andres Iniesta although Ernesto Valverde's side will face resistance from the Premier League club, who have Eriksen contracted until 2020.


Manchester City line up £75m Mahrez


Manchester City are hoping to complete the £75 million (€86m/$100m), signing of Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez by the end of the week, according to the Daily Mail .

The club are close to agree a deal with Mahrez, though the structure of the payments to Leicester City must still be hammered out.

In addition to Mahrez, Pep Guardiola also has interest in Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey.


Donnarumma snubs Liverpool


Gianluigi Donnarumma has rejected the chance to make a summer move to Liverpool, according to  Corriere dello Sport .

The AC Milan goalkeeper is expected to leave the Serie A side during the close season and has attracted an offer from Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp said to be keen to land him.

The 19-year-old is not eager about heading to England, however, even though his agent Mino Raiola is growing impatient with his indecision.


Juve & Inter discuss Higuain-Icardi swap


Juventus and Inter are in talks over a sensational deal that will see Mauro Icardi join the Serie A champions in exchange for €50 million and Gonzalo Higuain, according to  Corriere dello Sport .

Inter need to raise funds to balance their finances and are willing to part with the Argentine if they can get a good fee. 

Juve have swooped in and could be set to give up a big €50m (£44m/$57m) and their own Argentine forward to sweeten the deal.


Barca not confident of landing Griezmann


Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu is less convinced that the club will be able to complete a deal for Antoine Griezmann, according to Marca .

Despite all the signs pointing to the Atletico Madrid star making the switch to Camp Nou, Barca are apparently fearful that he will now remain at Atleti after his team-mates put pressure on him to stay.

PSG winger Angel Di Maria wants to join Atletico Madrid in the summer, according to AS .

Renato Sanches to join Benfica


Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches could be about to complete a loan move to Benfica, according to  A Bola .

The Bavarians are apparently in talks with the Portuguese side over a short-term deal for the midfielder, who struggled during a similar loan spell with Swansea City in 2017-18.


Juventus want Oriol Busquets


Juventus are ready to swoop to land Barcelona B star Oriol Busquets on a free transfer this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo .

The midfielder's contract expires on June 30 and although Barca have tried to negotiate a new deal, Busquets is exploring his options over moving abroad, with Juve keen.


Lazio confirm no offers for Milinkovic-Savic


Despite reports linking him to Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid, Lazio's director Igli Tare confirmed there have been no offers for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Tare added nothing has changed with the club's valuation of the midfielder, despite missing out on Champions League qualification on the last day of the Serie A campaign.

However, he would not discuss figures or the club's plans if they receive an offer as they are hypotheticals at this point.

Raiola talks up Balotelli to Napoli


Mario Balotelli could be interested in a move to Serie A runners up Napoli according to his agent Mino Raiola, who also insists the club only have one better forward.

According to Raiola, only Lorenzo Insigne can compete with Balotelli, who returned to the Italy fold with a goal against Saudi Arabia on Monday .

Arsenal fail with Fabinho bid


Arsenal made a late bid to sign Fabinho from Monaco before Liverpool sealed his signing, reports Sky Sports News.

The 22-year-old was one of the stars of the Championship this season, with United impressed by Grealish's ability to drive forward from deep positions in midfield. 

With Villa falling to Fulham in the Championship play-off final, the club could face a struggle to hold on to Grealish this summer. 


Leicester to offer Vardy bumper deal


Leicester City have opened talks with Jaime Vardy over a massive new contract to keep him at the club, reports Daily Star.

The 29-year-old striker has been linked with Atletico Madrid, and the Foxes are desperate to hold on to the England international. 

Leicester will offer Vardy a deal worth £120,000 (€137k/$160k) per week that would keep him at the club until age 34. 


Liverpool announce Fabinho signing


Liverpool have announced the long-term signing of Fabinho from AS Monaco.

The club has said the 24-year-old Brazilian's move will be completed on July 1 after completed a medical and agreeing personal terms with the Reds.

Napoli reject City bid for Jorginho


Napoli have rejected a £39 million (€45m/$52m) offer from Manchester City for Jorginho, reports the Mirror

City have made the Italy midfielder one of their top targets for the summer and will face competition from Chelsea, who are set to be taken over by former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri.

Napoli hope that a bidding war between City and Chelsea breaks out, and are holding out for £52 million (€60m/$69m).


Spurs out of the running for Bale


Tottenham will not pursue a move for Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale this summer, reports Sky Sports News.

The former Spurs star has been tipped to leave Madrid this summer, despite playing a starring role in the club's third straight Champions League title. 

With Bale currently making considerably more than any Tottenham player, the club has decided that a move for the 28-year-old would not be financially possible.  


Inter and Napoli interested in Dembele


Inter and Napoli are both looking to sign Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele, reports  Gazzetta dello Sport.

With just one year remaining on his current contract with Spurs, the Belgium international has been tipped to depart the club this summer.

And the two Serie A sides are both hoping to add the 30-year-old to their ranks.


Everton near Silva appointment


Everton believe they will be able to name former Watford head coach Marco Silva to their vacant managerial position, reports the Mirror .

The Toffees made an approach for Silva midseason after the sacking of Ronald Koeman, but were swatted back by Watford, who then fired Silva over the matter.

Everton still need to work out compensation with Watford but have been engaged in discussions with Silva’s former club.
