Ronaldo's release clause slashed to €120m


Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has had his release clause slashed from €1 billion to just €120m (£105m/$140m), according to OK Diario .

The clause is not applicable to Spanish teams, ruling out a shock move to Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain is also allegedly forbidden in the small print.

The Spanish outlet reports that Ronaldo, who has reached the knockouts of this summer's World Cup with Portugal, has offers on the table from Manchester City, AC Milan, Arsenal and Chelsea.


Man Utd chase Kroos


Manchester United are looking to land Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos and are willing to spend big to get him, reports AS.

Jose Mourinho views Kroos as a player who can help bring the best out of Paul Pogba but know it may not be easy to pry the Germany international from Madrid.

The La Liga giants have no intention of letting Kroos leave and will demand his £442 million (€500m/$579m) release clause be paid.


Chelsea take the lead in Alisson chase


Chelsea have edged in front of Liverpool and Real Madrid in the race to sign Roma goalkeeper Alisson, reports Marca .

The Brazil international has been heavily linked with a big-money move this summer despite a reluctance to sell on the part of his current club.

Roma maintain that no formal offers have been received, but Chelsea are ready to pounce amid the uncertainty surrounding Thibaut Courtois' future.


Asensio going nowhere


Marco Asensio will not be leaving Real Madrid this summer, according to AS

The 22-year-old was not a full-time starter at the club last season, leading to rumours he could look to head elsewhere in search of regular starts. 

But Asensio is only thinking about continuing on with the Blancos, and the club have no plans to entertain offers for the Spain international. 


Fellaini to sign Man Utd deal


Marouane Fellaini is poised to bring the uncertainty surrounding his future to a close by signing a new two-year contract with Manchester United, reports The Telegraph .

The Belgium international appeared to be heading towards free agency, with AC Milan and Arsenal keen, but he is now set to extend his stay at Old Trafford.


Milinkovic-Savic delays future call


Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has said he would be happy to stay with the Biancocelesti amid speculation over a potential transfer to Juventus, but stopped short of giving any assurances over his future.

The Serbia international, who has also been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United, is planning to take a post-World Cup break before making a decision on his next move.

Southampton have agreed a £16 million (€18m/$21m) fee for Basel forward Mohamed Elyounoussi, according to Sky Sports.

The 23-year-old scored 14 goals in 45 appearances last season, and can play either as a winger or a striker. He will be expected to help fill the void left by Dusan Tadic, who is moving to Ajax. 

Elyounoussi has been capped 16 times by Norway.

The 25-year-old has become a fixture in Germany, having also represented Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.

The Belgium international has hinted he is open to leaving the French champions after his playing time diminished in 2017-18.

Juventus willing to meet €20m Godin clause


Juventus are looking for a new centre-back and are willing to meet Atletico Madrid star Diego Godin's €20 million (£18m/$23m) release clause, according to Calciomercato.com.   

With Mehdi Benatia and Daniele Rugani potentially leaving the club, the Serie A champions have targeted the 32-year-old Uruguayan as a possible replacement. 

Atletico won't let Godin leave without a fight, however, and are set to begin discussions over a new contact with the defender.
