Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama expressed disappointment after his side settled for a 2-2 draw against Liverpool on Sunday.
An enthralling encounter at the Anfield Stadium saw both teams settle for a share of the spoils as the race for the Premier League top four heats up.
After Mohamed Salah gave the hosts an early lead in the third minute, the Kenyan midfielder stepped off the bench to score a stunner in the 80th minute – his first league goal since May 2017 against Hull City.
Ten minutes later, Salah grabbed his brace before Harry Kane salvaged a point for Mauricio Pochettino’s men from the penalty spot at the last minute of the encounter.
And the 26-year-old has disclosed that he is not impressed with the result that leaves Spurs a point off the top four spot.
“Disappointed not to get all 3 points but pleased to have scored ! #COYS,” Wanyama tweeted.
