Tim Cahill has already received three offers to play overseas but is believed to leaning toward signing at Tony Popovic's Turkish Super Lig side Karabukspor.
The 38-year-old quit Melbourne City on Wednesday in a bid to secure regular playing time heading into the Socceroos World Cup campaign in Russia next year.
The Covert Agent can reveal Cahill has received offers from Popovic, an English League One side and a Japanese J2 League outfit.
It's understood Cahill is keen to join his former Socceroos teammate at Karabukspor at this stage but is hoping more offers flood in once his availability filters through worldwide.
Popovic's Karabukspor, who have lost their last six matches in the Super Lig, are currently dead-last on the standings, having only scored 13 goals in 14 games.
A move to Turkey will see Cahill become the second Australian in the Turkish top flight, with Aziz Behich currently in red-hot form for Bursaspor.
