Ramos keen to see Mbappe at Madrid
He told reporters on the Mbappe rumours ahead of Spurs’ International Champions Cup clash with Manchester City: “I'm not surprised at all.
“I spent some of the international breaks with him and he's very, very talented. He's very young but has really great potential.
“There are a lot of rumours and speculation but the most important thing for him is to be focused on himself. Let's see what will happen.”
Mbappe netted 26 times in 44 appearances last season, helping Monaco to the Ligue 1 title and the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Monaco's transfer market mastery
His efforts also earned him senior international recognition, with his debut made at the age of 18 in March.
Monaco have admitted to receiving “important offers” for their prized asset, but no sale has been sanctioned as yet and the new French top-flight campaign is due to get underway on August 4.
Prior to that, the current title holders will face Paris Saint-Germain in the Trophee des Champions final.
