Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen has been injured during the Netherlands's international friendly with neighbours Belgium.
The 22-year-old lasted just 27 minutes for the Dutch before going down with a head injury following a clash with Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
Janssen and Mignolet came in contact early in the game when the attacker was through on goal, with the Liverpool stopper hitting the striker in his follow-through as he cleared the danger.
Bas Dost was called from the bench to replace Janssen, who has largely been ineffective at White Hart Lane this season.
The Dutchman moved to Spurs for a 17 million pound ($21.1M) transfer fee after an impressive run at AZ, where he helped the Alkmaar outfit to Europa League qualification with 27 goals in 34 league games.
Since making his debut for the Netherlands in March, Janssen has scored four goals for his country, including a strike against England in a 2-1 victory, but has yet to replicate his goalscoring prowess for Tottenham.
Kompany forced to withdraw from Belgium squad
Despite injury to first choice striker Harry Kane, Janssen has yet to win over manager Mauricio Pochettino, starting just four games and scoring just once in the current Premier League campaign.
