Santos coach Dorival Juniors has revealed that he is planning to make a blockbuster move to bring Bastian Schweinsteiger to Brazil.
The Vila Belmiro team boast a remarkable footballing pedigree, having brought through the likes of Pele, Robinho, Elano, Neymar and Ganso over their illustrious history.

But the current Peixe boss is looking for a big import to make a statement to the world - and believes the out of favour Manchester United player would be the perfect candidate.
"It would be a huge wake-up call for the world. My plan, which I have tried to pass on to the Santos board, is for Santos to once more have a world-class player, which we should look for in European clubs if they are not being used properly," he explained to UOL Esporte.
"[Schweinsteiger] fits that profile. I have not officially passed this on [to the board], it is my initiative to have a player with Schweinsteiger's history.
"He is not doing well in Manchester and suddenly a Brazilian club is interested in a player of his class, it could shake the market up."
According to UOL Esporte, Dorival has also consulted players that have featured alongside Schweinsteiger in his trophy-laden career for Bayern Munich, United and Germany to sound out whether he would be tempted to move to Brazil.
Those sources have reportedly informed the coach that a transfer would not be impossible, as the midfielder continues to be left on the fringes of Jose Mourinho's squad at Old Trafford.
