Mohamed Salah continues to send records tumbling at Liverpool and has now been backed by Mido to reach 100 Premier League goals.
The 25-year-old forward has been in sensational form this season, with a brace against Tottenham in his latest outing taking him onto 21 top-flight goals for the campaign.
He now has 23 Premier League efforts in total, with former Middlesbrough and Tottenham striker Mido having been passed on 22 to become the top-scoring Egyptian in the competition’s history.
Salah is expected to get many more in the years to come, as that bar gets raised considerably, with it possible that he could become another centurion if he can maintain his standards and Liverpool fend off admiring glances from afar.
Mido told BBC Sport on a remarkable talent: "I felt proud after Salah reached my number of goals, and I think he can reach 100 goals easily.”
Salah previously netted twice in the Premier League during a forgettable spell at Chelsea.
He was denied regular opportunities during a stint at Stamford Bridge, but is making up for lost time now.
His career was reignited in Italy at Fiorentina and Roma and his fine form has been brought with him to Merseyside.
Mido believes a man already sparking talk of interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid can continue to go from strength to strength, with there seemingly no weaknesses in his game.
"Salah is on top form, he is strong and fast I'm sure he will score more goals and break more records in the English Premier League," he added.
"Now he is playing with a very big side, and I want him to focus more and more with the Reds so that he can make history."
