EXTRA TIME
Twitter exploded on Thursday as Manchester United suffered another blow under Jose Mourinho's stewardship.
The Red Devils were beaten 2-1 by Fenerbahce in the Europa League, leaving their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages hanging in the balance.
And following what was United's fifth defeat in all competitions this season, several supporters took to social media to call for the sacking of Mourinho - and the return of Sir Alex Ferguson, who left the club in 2013.

I'd give my left nut to have Fergie back as manager

I feel like Fergie is extremely embarrassed which will force him to return and win the treble

The more Man Utd struggle the more i think Fergie was rather selfish leaving on a high but leaving us in total disarray!

If Fergie had a squad like this he'll be winning with ease

Fergie out of retirement to save us

Dude, Fergie would literally just point at his watch and United would convert into a beast. Christ I miss those days :(

Will their pleas fall on deaf ears or could Mourinho be facing a boardroom backlash and unlikely managerial comeback?since fergie left the more man united spend the more they are losing identity and becoming even worse every year.
