Henrikh Mkhitaryan is determined to fight for his place at Manchester United and will not look for a move away from Old Trafford in January, according to The Guardian.
The summer signing from Borussia Dortmund has made just four appearances for the club and was shocked by Jose Mourinho's recent comments that he needed to work on his intensity and fitness.
Mkhitaryan had also been expecting to feature in the EFL Cup clash against Manchester City having taken part in a full training session prior to the game, but wants to stay and prove himself with the Red Devils after being left out of the squad.
