Manchester United and Arsenal are among the Premier League clubs keeping a close eye on Bayer Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt ahead of the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
The highly-rated 20-year-old winger has also been watched by scouts from Tottenham and Everton in recent weeks.
All four clubs had representatives at a Bundesliga fixture between Leverkusen and Koln on December 21, while Liverpool have been monitoring the Germany international throughout the 2016-17 campaign.
Brandt, who has provided three goals and six assists in 22 appearances this season, is under contract with his current employers until the summer of 2019.
