Cristiano Ronaldo could be seen at Manchester United training on Thursday, but the Real Madrid superstar has not completed a shock switch.

The Portuguese forward is still held in the highest regard at Old Trafford following a trophy-laden spell between 2003 and 2009.

A return to England has been mooted at regular intervals for the 32-year-old since he headed to Spain, but he has remained loyal to Real and committed to several new deals.

United, though, have found a way of welcoming him back into their fold, with Ronaldo's likeness spotted on accessories at Carrington.

The inflatable dummies dotted around United’s training base are produced by Keepersport.

Jose Mourinho clearly feels there is a use to them, but David de Gea does not appear to be a fan.

The Spanish goalkeeper can be seen in the video below taking a kick towards the head of a defenceless Ronaldo!

Transfer talk has started to build around Ronaldo once again, despite the Portugal star landing the FIFA Best Award and a fifth Ballon d’Or in 2017, but he is under contract until 2021 and a second stint at United may remain a pipe dream for those hoping to see the real thing return at some stage.
