Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher's support of Premier League giants Manchester City has been well documented, with his presence at the Etihad Stadium consistent and humorous social media posts constantly making headlines.
The club has continued to embrace his presence, and now their partnership has taken an extra step this season with Gallagher's involvement in the design of the club's 2024/25 kits.
The singer has already put his stamp on this season's threads with the font for the names and numbers in his handwriting style. City's home kits released in mid-June feature a Comic Sans-like typeface that is, they claim, based off Gallagher's own personal scribble.

According to a report by Footy Headlines, who often have new kit leaks, Man City are set to release the club's first-ever fourth kit which is entirely designed by Gallagher.
The kit, they claim, is meant to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Oasis's first-ever studio album Definitely Maybe. The kit will reportedly be unveiled in late August on August 29th, which will be 30 years to the day that the album was released.
The design features a simple matte egg white kit with muted sky blue collar and sides, with a faded blue ripple effect around the Man City badge. The badge itself stands out as the centerpiece, with an orange gradient. The blue and orange colors are directly ripped from the Definitely Maybe cover art, giving it a 90's feel.

Man City partnering with Gallagher to design a kit is no surprise after the Oasis frontman himself seemed to heavily hint at the news earlier this spring. "I can't say much, but it's a Definitely Maybe-inspired kit and it's far-out," Gallagher said while appearing on BBC 5 Live Sport. "I've seen it, I designed it...It's been a real honour to do it for the 30th anniversary."
A well-known prankster, Gallagher couldn't let the chat go without quipping, "It's got a massive picture of my head on all the tops!"
