Netherlands World Cup schedule 2022: Complete fixtures, matches, kickoff times, dates for all games in Qatar image

After missing out on the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the Netherlands are playing at the 2022 tournament in Qatar and will be eager to make up for lost time.

The Dutch are yet to win football's biggest tournament but have lost three finals, with their most recent defeat coming in 2010.

The Oranje also finished third in 2014, before dramatically failing to qualify for Russia four years ago.

Louis Van Gaal's side have been in fine form so far in 2022, and entered the World Cup having not lost in 15 games. It is a run that has continued at the tournament, coming through the group stage unbeaten.

Netherlands World Cup group: Group A

On paper, the Dutch should have had no problems escaping this group and were always aiming to finish first. And that is how it proved.

Senegal came into this World Cup as African champions but they failed to escape their group four years ago, although their final-game victory over Ecuador booked their return to the knockout stage this time.

Ecuador qualified for just their fourth World Cup but have never made it past the Round of 16.
