After his side drew 1-1 against PKNP FC in their Malaysia Super League (MSL) match on Sunday, Selangor head coach Nazliazmi Nasir has not ruled out making roster changes in the mid-season transfer window.

In the match that was held at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium on Sunday, the hosts opened the scoring in the 53rd minute through Rufino Segovia's goal. The match was earlier stopped for 12 minutes, when the stadium lights went out five minutes into the first half.

But the visitors pressed on for the equaliser, and was rewarded for their perseverance in the last seconds of the match, when Hafiz Ramdan struck a low shot from outside the box that went in between the Selangor defenders and into the back of the net.

The draw allowed PKNP to remain in seventh place, and was enough to let Selangor climb up one spot to ninth.

"As long as the final whistle is not blown, a team must never stop playing. PKNP are a good side with good youngsters and quality foreign players. They played together and punished us with the last-gasp equaliser.

"Not everything we plan will happen in football, my men tried defending the slim lead against PKNP's onslaught. But in the end, a momentary lapse in concentration denied us the three points," remarked the former youth coach in the post-match press conference.

When asked, he does not rule out making new signings and dropping players in the now-open mid-season transfer window, but he declined to go into detail.

"I cannot say too much as it is up to the club management, and we will discuss the matter.

"As a head coach I definitely have identified the roster changes we need to make in order to strengthen the team, especially because this is Selangor. The players we sign must be suitable and be able to continue our past successes. Let's see what the management says about it," said Nazliazmi.
