Jose Mourinho believes Manchester United have one of the most promising goalkeepers of a generation in Joel Pereira.
Why Wenger has never beaten Mourinho
The Portuguese shot stopper has been at United since 2012 and spent a period on loan at Rochdale, before a brief spell at Belenenses earlier this season.
After featuring 10 times for the Primeira Liga team, Pereira returned to United and has played 10 minutes for the senior side this season - replacing Sergio Romero for the closing stages of their FA Cup win over Wigan in January.
A spot on the bench in last month's victory over Sunderland is as close as he has come to featuring in the Premier League, but Mourinho feels lucky to have the 20-year-old available after David De Gea and Romero.
"We have two fantastic goalkeepers," Mourinho said.
"We have a third goalkeeper that I think will be the best Portuguese goalkeeper of the next generation so anyone in goal I trust completely."
Pereira, a Portugal Under 21 international who was born in Switzerland, is currently contracted to United until June 2020.
