Dominic Oduro has signed a two-year deal to return to the Montreal Impact, the club announced Monday.
The 31-year-old winger had been available as a free agent but now returns for a third season with the Impact, for whom he has recorded 14 goals and six assists over 59 regular season matches. Oduro also had two goals and three assists in five postseason games this fall as the Impact made a run to the Eastern Conference final.

"Dominic has been an important part of our success in the last two years and has fit in nicely with the club and the city," Impact technical director Adam Braz said in a news release. "His pace and ability to get in behind defenders has led to his important offensive contribution to the team. His experience and team-first mentality will continue to be important within our group."
A Ghana native, Oduro also has played for FC Dallas, the New York Red Bulls, the Houston Dynamo, the Chicago Fire, the Columbus Crew and Toronto FC since being drafted in 2006.
"I am very happy to come back with the Impact, where I have enjoyed a lot of success with the club as well as individually and found more consistency and connection with my teammates," Oduro said. "I also have a strong connection with the fans, which made my decision even easier to return."
