Thai League club Police Tero have unveiled former A-League championship-winning coach Mike Mulvey as their new manager.
Police Tero, who were formed this year through a merger of BEC Tero Sasana and Police United, have failed to win their last five games in Thailand's top flight and sit 10th in the 18-team competition.

After meeting one of the club's presidents Brian Marcar in London a few weeks ago, Mulvey quickly became convinced that joining Police United was the right move for him.
"This is an opportunity that excites me because of the vision of the people involved and I share their excitement with what can be achieved," he told reporters on Monday.
"Right now the club is in mid-table, lost a few games, probably should have a few more points than it has, but my job now is to meet the players and gain their trust.
"You do that by working with them, speaking with them. So I'll be doing that from tomorrow in our training camp and I'm really looking forward to it."
Mulvey, 54, last coached Terengganu in the Malaysia Super League as a caretaker having previously worked there as their technical director, while he also coached Sabah in the same competition.
The Manchester-born coach won the 2013-14 premiership-championship double in the A-League with Brisbane Roar.

Mulvey replaced Rado Vidosic in December 2012 when the latter was sacked before being dismissed himself in November 2014.
Mulvey joins ex-Adelaide United coach Aurelio Vidmar in working in the Thai League, with the latter in charge of fourth-placed Bangkok Glass.
