Hirving Lozano certainly has not taken much time to get adjusted to life in Eredivisie. In fact, he’s taken to it better than any player in the league’s history.
Lozano, who made an €8 million summer move from Liga MX side Pachuca to PSV, picked up a brace in Sunday’s contest against Vitesse to bring his rate of return to a sparkling nine goals in eight Eredivisie games. He also picked up an assist in the 4-2 PSV win.
11/4 for Heerenveen and Alkmaar to draw
It’s just more of the same for Lozano in Eredivisie, as he has scored in seven of his first eight games — a first for any player in the league.

The 22-year-old Mexico international previously had posted solid scoring tallies in his country’s top division. He bagged 12 goals in 40 games in 2015-16 and 10 in 29 over the 2016-17 campaign.
But he already seems set to smash those marks now in Holland and with nine goals and three assists already this season, it may not be long before other clubs in Europe think about trying to make Lozano’s sparkling debut campaign his only one in the Eredivisie.
