Roger Assale scored a brace while Dieumerci Mbokani netted once as Dynamo Kyiv played a 2-2 draw with ten-man Young Boys in Thursday’s Uefa Europa League tie.
In the 17th minute, Cote d'Ivoire international Assale opened the scoring for Young Boys before Mbokani equalised off a Vitaly Buyalsky assist in the 34th minute.
Six minutes later, Assale grabbed his brace to give Adi Hutter’s men a 2-1 lead heading into the break.
Few moments after the interval, Mykola Morozyuk made sure both sides had a share of the spoils.
The Swiss outfit would, however, finish the tie with a man less after Cote d’Ivoire midfielder, Sekou Sanogo picked up a second booking in the 82nd minute.
In another Europa League encounter, Ghana international Patrick Twumasi and DR Congo’s Junior Kabananga were twice on target as Astana defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-0 in Group A.
